Logic Terms
| Term | Definition |

| Contrapositive | The statement formed when you negate the hypothesis and conclusion of the converse of a conditional statement. (~q ~p) |
| Negation | If a statement is represented by p, then ~p is the negation of the statement. |
| Inverse | The statement formed when you negate the hypothesis and conclusion of a conditional statement. (~p ~q) |
| Converse | The statement formed by switching the hypothesis and conclusion of a conditional statement. (q p) |
| Hypothesis | The "if" (p) part of a conditional statement. |
| Conclusion | The "then"(q) part of a conditional statement. |
| Logic statements | A statement that can be true or false. |
| Conditional | If p then q |
