alkaline earth metals Group 2 elements in the periodic table, all shiny, silvery white, somewhat reactive metals at standard temperature and pressure
atomic mass the mass of an atom of a chemical element expressed in atomic mass units
atomic number the number of protons in the nucleus of an atom and determines its place in the periodic table
Bohr model the model of the atom where the nucleus of the atom is the centre of the atom and electrons are travelling in shells around the nucleus
chemical symbol Hazard Symbols
electron shell is the energy levels that electrons travel in
halogens Group 7 elements that consists of reactive non-metallic element
metal a solid material which is typically hard, shiny, malleable, fusible, and ductile, with good electrical and thermal conductivity
metalloid an element which have both properties of metals and non metals
multiple ion charge an element which has different charges
noble gases Group 8 elements and low reactive gases
non-metal an element which is not a metal
