Whole Number The numbers 0,1,2,3,4,....
Rational Number a number that can be written as the ratio of two numbers, a/b, where a and b are integers and b = 0 ( = sign has a / through it)
Integer the set of whole numbers and their opposite
Numerator the number above the fraction bar in a fraction
Denominator the number below the fraction bar in a fraction
Terminating Decimal a decimal that ends
Repeating Decimal a decimal that has a pattern that repeats
Equivalent Equation equations that have the same solutions
