Note Of When To Omit Subject Pronouns Omit them when the context of the sentence reveals what could have been used for the subject pronoun.
Le presento a mi amiga, Marta. Habla español. I present my friend, Marta. She speaks Spanish.
Note About Using Ud. Use Ud. to differentiate between "he", "she", or "you"
Mi novio habla español. Habla bien. My boyfriend speaks Spanish. He speaks well.
Cantan bien. They sing well.
Mis primos están en el coro. Cantan bien. My cousins are in the chorus. They sing well.
Uds. cantan bien también. You all sing well.
Nosotros miramos la televisión cada dia. We watch TV every day.
Ana trabaja en la ciudad. Ana works in the city.

Note On How To Show An Action Is Continuing From The Past To The Present Use the verb, hacer, ("to make / to do") + que
¿Cuánto tiempo hace que Ud. estudia el español? How long have you been speaking Spanish?
Hace dos años que estudio el español. I have been studying Spanish for two years.
Note Of How To Conjugate In A Sentence With Two Verbs Conjugate the first verb and leave the second in its infinitive form
Yo prefiero ir de compras. I prefer to go shopping.
Note On How To Conjugate Verbs Conjugation of verbs is based on the subject of the sentence. Spanish verbs end in -ar, -er, and -ir.
Yo gano dinero. I earn money.
Tú ganas dinero. You earn money.
él gana dinero. He earns money.
Nosotros ganamos dinero. We earn money.
Vosotros ganáis dinero. You (you all) earn money.
Ellos ganan dinero. They earn money.
Yo bebo el agua. I drink water.
Tú bebes el agua. You drink water.
Ella bebe el agua. She drinks water.
Nosotros bebemos el agua. We drink water.
Vosotros bebéis el agua. You (you all) drink water.
Ellos beben el agua. They drink water.
