What is a scalar? a quantity completely specified by only a number with appropriate units; has magnitude, but no direction
What is a vector? a quantity that has magnitude and direction.
What are examples of scalars? speed, volume, and the number of pages
What are examples of vectors? displacement, velocity, acceleration,
(Vector)X(Scalar)= Vector
V = Velocity
2V = Double velocity
-2V= Double velocity & go 180 degrees
What is projectile motion? Motion of an object in 2 dimensions that is under the influence of gravity and no other influence
What kind of path does projectile motion follow? Parabola
What is a frame of reference? Coordinate system for describing precise locations of objects from space
