| Atom | the smallest particle of a chemical element that can exist |
| Boiling Point | The temperature at which a liquid boils and turns into vapour |
| Conductivity | How much a material can conduct electrictiy |
| Density | The degree of compactness of a substance |
| Electron | a stable subatomic particle with a charge of negative electricity, found in all atoms and acting as the primary carrier of electricity in solids. |
| Element | an essential or characteristic part of something abstract |
| Hazard Symbol | substances that cannot be chemically interconverted or broken down into simpler substances |
| Mass | a large body of matter with no definite shape |
| Melting Point | the temperature at which a given solid will melt. |
| Neutron | a subatomic particle of about the same mass as a proton but without an electric charge |
| Nucleus | the positively charged central core of an atom, consisting of protons and neutrons and containing nearly all its mass. |
| Proton | a stable subatomic particle occurring in all atomic nuclei, with a positive electric charge equal in magnitude to that of an electron. |
| State | the particular condition that a substance is in at a specific time |
| Subatomic Patricle | matter that is within an atom |
| Volume | the amount of space that a substance or object occupies |
