TermDefinition
Coordinate Axes are formed by drawing a vertical and horizontal number line.
x-axis the horizontal number line on the Cartesian Plane.
y-axis the vertical number line on the Cartesian Plane.
Quadrants The four sections of a Cartesian Plane formed from the coordinate axes.
Ordered Pairs The points on a Cartesian Plan, (x,y).
x-coordinate The first number listed in an ordered pair.
y-coordinate The second number listed in an ordered pair.
Origin The ordered pair (0,0).
