TermDefinition
Antagonist a person who actively opposes or is hostile to someone or something
Static a literary or dramatic character who undergoes little or no inner change
Dynamic someone who undergoes an important, internal change
Composite made up of disparate or separate parts or elements
Round characters that are complex and undergo development, sometimes sufficiently to surprise the reader
Conflict a serious disagreement or argument
Flat characters that are relatively uncomplicated and do not change throughout the course of a work
