French tenses

spell change -er add accent grave to second e
Past tense use present form of avoir or etre as auxiliary verb, followed by past participle of verb. Replace infinitive ending with I, e, or u to form past participle.
House of Etre Devenir, rentrer, mourir, retourner, sortir, venir, arriver, naitre, descendre, entrer, revenir, tomber, rester, arriver, monter, partir.
irregular past participles: faire, etre, avoir, prendre, boire faire: fait etre: ete avoir: eu predre: pris boire: bu
imperfect tense drop the -ons ending from the nous form of the verb in present tense and replace it with new ending.
