Points Lines and Planes

| point | It is an exact location in space. It is named by a capital letter; it has no thickness and 0 dimension. |
| line | An infinite set of points that goes on forever. It is named by two capital letters or a lower-case cursive letter. |
| plane | A flat surface that goes on forever in two directions. Contains an infinite set of points and lines. It is named by any three points or by an upper-case cursive letter. |
| collinear | Points that lie on the same line. |
| coplanar | Points that lie on the same plane. |
| line segment | Part of a line consisting of two end points and all the points between them. |
| congruent | Segments that have the same length. |
| midpoint | Point halfway between the endpoints of a segment. |
| ray | Starts at one point and extends infinitely in one direction. |
