Atomic Models

Purpose: To recognize different atomic models. EASY

QuestionAnswer
Dalton Model 1803 by John Dalton Tiny, solid sphere.
Thomsom Model 1897 by J.J Thomson Positively charged sphere with negatively charged particles embedded in it.
Bohr Model 1913 by Niels Bohr Positively charged nucleus in the center and electrons orbiting around it at fixed distances.
Rutherford Model 1911 by Ernest Rutherford Positively charged nucleus in the center and electrons orbiting around it.
Quantum Mechanical Model 1926 Erwin Schrodinger Positively charged nucleus in the center and a cloud of electrons around it.
