How does Cherry explain the differences the differences between Greasers and Socs? Greasers are more emotional and Socs are sophisticated and don't feel anything.
How do Socs fight? Coldly, practically, and impersonally
Who is Mickey Mouse? Sodapop's old horse that he used to ride in rodeos
Why does Ponyboy think his world and Cherry's world might not be different? They see the same sunset
Why does Johnny get nervous when he sees the car? He was attacked by Socs in a blue mustang and he is worried they may get jumped
How does Pony describe Darry to Cherry? He is as hard as a rock and likes Soda, but doesn't like him
Why does Two-Bit slap Pony? He insults Johnny by making him feel worse about how unwanted he is
Who is in the mustang? What does Johnny notice? Cherry and Marcia's boyfriends along with some other Socs and Johnny notices they have rings on their fingers
What does Cherry explain to Pony about seeing him in the hall? She won't say hi to him because of her reputations and her parents won't allow her seeing a greaser. But she explains it's not personal
What does Pony tell Cherry not to forget? That they watch the same sunset
What are Cherry's parting comments to Pony? She hopes she never sees Dally or she might fall in love with him
What does Two-Bit throw away after the girls leave? Marcia's phone number
What does Pony dream about? His parents being alive
Why does Pony know he is in trouble when he gets home? It is 2 in the morning and he is past his curfew
What does Darry do to Pony? Darry slaps him
Where does Pony go? What does he want to do? He goes to the lot where Johnny is sleeping and he wants to run away
Why does Johnny think he likes it better when his dad is hitting him? He sees it as his Dad acknowledging him
What happens when Johnny stays away all night? Nobody notices
Where do Johnny and Ponyboy decide to go? The park
