point of tangency a point where the line touches the circle
radius distance from the center to a point on the circle
congruent circles 2 circles that have same radius

sector a region bounded by 2 radius of a circle and intercepted arc

arc length circumferance of a circle
apothom distance from center of polygon to any side
diameter a chord that goes through the center of a circle
chord segments whose end points ar on the circle
area of a rectangle A= LW
obtuse triangle all angles > 90
acute triangle all angles < 90
median a segment whose end points are a vertex of a triangle and mid points of opposite side
scale factor the ratios of the lengths of 2 corresponding sides of 2 polygons
midsegment theorem a segment that connects the mid points of the legs of a trapazoid
