| sequence | A list of numbers or objects in a special order. Example: 3, 5, 7, 9, ... is a sequence starting at 3 and increasing by 2 each time. |
| Arithmetic Sequence | A sequence made by adding some value each time Example: 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, ... (each number is 3 larger than the number before it) |
| Geometric Sequence | A sequence made by multiplying by some value each time. Example: 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, ... (each number is 2 times the number before it) |
| Function | A relation for which each element of the domain corresponds to exactly one element of the range |
