Iran Hostage Crisis A Crisis of 444 days. Americans in Iran were taken hostage. Iranians did this to express their anger that America allowed the Shah to get cancer treatment in the US.

Osama bin Laden Leader of Al-Qaeda terrorist group, and mastermind of Sept 11 attacks. He resented the US involvement during the Persian Gulf/War in Iraq in 1991.
