Kindertransport British rescue operation for children in Nazi occupied Europe which began in December 1938 and lasted until September 1939. 10,000 children made the trip to England.
London Blitz A period of intense bombing of London that began September 1940. The German bombs fell and destroyed schools, homes, and even part of Buckingham Palace. The Blitz ended May 1941.
Kristallnacht It was on Nov. 9th and 10th, 1938. It translates to night of the broken glass. Jewish homes, synagogue, and business where burnt down. This was the 1st time the world heard of anti Semitism.
Nuremburg Laws The Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor: laws that stripped Jews of their German citizenship.
