L.A. stuffs

TermDefinition
Point of view The perspective from which a story is told. The voice telling the story.
Simile Using like or as to compare two things.
Allusion A usually brief often casual reference to some other person, event, or thing.
Flashback A section of a novel that interrupts the chronological sequence of events to relate something that happened at an earlier time.
Foreshadowing Hints or suggestions about something that will occur later in the novel.
Pun A play on words in which two different meanings for the same word, or two different words that sound the same, are used humorously.
