Congruent Figures that have the same size and shape.
cylinder A solid figure with two circular bases that are congruent and parallel.
cone Solid with one circular base, the points on the circle are joined to one point outside the base.
cubic unit The volume of a cube 1 unit on each side.
cube A solid figure with six flat surfaces called faces.All the faces are square.
face A flat surface of a polyhedron.
edge A line segment whare two faces meet in a solid figure.
parallel In a plane, lines that never cross and are the same distance apart.
perpindicular Two lines that intersect to form
parallelogram A quadrillateral with both pairs of oppisite sides parallel and equal inlength.
prism A solid figure with twocongruent parallel bases and faces that are parallelograms.
triangle A pollygon with three sides.
trapizoid A quadrilateral thathas exactly one pair of parallellines.
quadrilateral A pollygon with four sides.
pyramaid A solid figure with a base that is a polygon and whos faces are triangles.
rectangle A parallelogram with four right angles.
rhombus A parallelogram with all sides the same length.
Vertices The pointwhere two rays meet to form a angle. The points where the sides of a polygon meet. The points where three or more meetin a solid figure. The pointed partof a cone.
