List some uses of magnets. Fridge magnets, loudspeakers, amplifiers, electromagnet in scrapyard, navigation compass
What do we call a magnet that is free to rotate and indicate direction? Compass
What is a magnetic field? The area around a magnet in which the magnetic force has an effect.
