What is a primary source? It is a kind of evidence that is created at the time of the event. Primary sources are created by people who saw or were part of an event.
Name some primary sources. letters, diaries, tools, clothing, information written at the time of the event, or eyewitnesses
What is a secondary source? It is evidence that is created AFTER an event. This is a source created by a person who was not part of the event.
Name some secondary sources. history textbook, encyclopedias and other resources that give a view of historical events.

IDENTIFY and EXPLAIN on positive impact and one negative impact of living near the rivers. positive- Rivers provided fresh water. This could be used for farming and cooking Negative- the rivers could cause flooding which would could ruin land and crops
Identify the first written set of laws and explain the purpose of these laws. The Hammurabi Codes were the first written laws and they were written to protect the people from crime by punishing criminals.
