| jerk | to make a quick, sharp, sudden movement |
| leap | to jump high or a long way |
| perpetual | everlasting |
| reel | to move in a very unsteady way, for example because you are drunk or have been hit |
| scowl | to contract the brow in an expression of displeasure |
| shriek | to make a sharp shrill sound, to cry out in a high-pitched voice |
