| Deductive | using logic or reason to form a conclusion or opinion about something |
| Syllogism | a formal argument in logic that is formed by two statements and a conclusion which must be true if the two statements are true |
| Premise | a statement or idea that is accepted as being true and that is used as the basis of an argument |
| Ethos | the distinguishing character, sentiment, moral nature, or guiding beliefs of a person, group, or institution |
| Pathos | an element in experience or in artistic representation evoking pity or compassion |
| Logos | the divine wisdom manifest in the creation, government, and redemption of the world and often identified with the second person of the Trinity |
| Emotional Appeals | Goes with Pathos, goes with emotions like fear |
| Transfer | to convey from one person, place, or situation to another |
| Bandwagon Appeal | Join or give support to a group/movement that seems to be assure to success |
