QuestionAnswer
Metal definition usually shiny and can be formed into shapes (malleable). They are good conductors of electricity.
Nonmetal definition most have the properties opposite of metals. Nonmetals are dull and cannot be shaped.
Semi metals definition have some properties of both metals and nonmetals.Some semi metals are shiny but cannot be shaped.
Noble gases definition elements that do not combine easily with other elements.
Element Definition made of one kind of atom. It can't be broken down during a chemical reaction. It combines with other elements to form compounds.
Group (chemistry) definition vertical column of elements on the periodic tables. These element have similar properties.
Chemistry definition The study of the composition and properties of matter and how substances react with each other.
Mass the amount of matter of a substance. Measured using a balance or scale
List of Physical Properties color, density, state of matter (also known as SOM) at room temp., texture, odor, shape.
Density definition the amount of matter in a space
