Amide | A class of organic compounds in which the hydroxyl group of a carboxylic acid is replaced by a nitrogen group |
Amine | A class of organic compounds that contains a nitrogen atom boded to one or more carbon atoms |
Aromatic | A compound that contains benzene. A benzene ring has only one hydrogen attached to each carbon. |
Carbonyl Group | A group of atoms that contains a double bond between a carbon atom and oxygen atom. (C=O) |
