polygon closed figure made up of 3 or more line segments that DO NOT cross has no curves
regular polygon polygon with all sides and angles that are congruent
irregular polygon polygon with sides and angles that are not congruent
parallel two lines which are the same distance apart never intersect
perpendicular two lines which form a right angle (90 degrees)
congruent figure same shape and same size
supplementary two angles whose sum is exactly 180 degrees
complementary two angles whose sum is exactly 90 degrees
bisect divide into 2 equal parts
quadrilateral 4-sided
parallelogram 4-sides, opposite sides are parallel and congruent, opposite angles are congruent diagonals bisect each other
rectangle parallelogram AND 4 right angles
rhombus parallelogram AND ALL sides are congruent
square parallelogram AND 4 right angles AND ALL sides are congruent
