What do green, blue, and brown signs mean? iformational
What are examples of warning or recommendation signs? slippery, curve, workers
What are examples of informational signs? Exits, food, state parks
Where is LP1? In the middle of the lane with 3 feet om either side of the car
Where is LP2? Hugging the center line with 6 feet on the right side
Where is LP3? Hugging the white line with 6 feet on the left side
Where is LP4? Straddling the center line with 9 feet on the right side
Where is LP5? Straddling the white line with 9 feet on the left side
What does white road paint mean? same direction
What does yellow road paint mean? opposite direction
What is a reference point? Something on or in the vehicle lined up with something on the roadway that permits you to precisely manuever your vehicle
What reference point would you use to position your car in LP2? Line the center line up with the joint of your windshield wipers, or one foot in from the front left corner
What reference point would you use to position your car in LP3? Line the white line up with the hump in the dashboard
What reference point do you use to park your vehicle right in front of the curb? line the front of the curb up with the bottom of your side view mirror
What does the symbol of a thermometer in water represent? engine temperature
