Geometry Vocab for section 1-1

What is a point? A plane gives location in space; represented by dot.
What is a line? straight path in two directions forever but no thickness.
What is a plane? Flat surface with no thickness that extends forever.
What are 2 or more points ont he same line? collinear points.
what are 2 points not on the same line? noncollinear points
what are points in the same plane? coplanar points.
what are points not all in the same plane? noncoplanar points.
What are opposite rays? 2 rays with the same endpoint that go in different directions
what is an axiom? accepted as true without proof.
