Chemistry The study of the properties of matter and how matter changes
Matter Anything that takes up space and has mass
Mass The amount of matter in an object
Weight How much force an object exerts due to gravity
Space the absence of matter
Mixture A material made of two or more substances that are not chemically bonded together
Substance Anything that contains only one pure type of material
Elements A substance that cannot be broken down into simpler substances; the building blocks of matter (there are 118 of these).
