Charging By Contact Which is the transfer of electric charge between objects in contact.
Charging By Induction Rearangement of electric charges in an object dueto a nearby "Electric Field".
Insulator Material in which electric charges cannot move easily.
Conductor Material in which electric charges can move easily.
Static Charge Imbalence of eletric charge on an object.
Electric Discharge Movement of static charge from one place to another.
Electric Current Flow of electric charge, measured in (Amperes).
Electric Circuit Closed conducting hoop in which electric currents can flow continually.
Electric Resistance Measure of how difficult it is for electrons to flow in a material; Unit is the (OHM).
Voltage A measure of the amount of electrical potential energy transferred by an eletric charge as it moves from one point to another in a circuit.
Series Circuits Circuit that has only one path for electric current to follow.
Parallel Circuit Circuit that has more than one path for electric current to follow.
Magnetic Domain A group of atoms in a magnetic material with the magnetic poles of the atoms pointing in the same direction.
Electro Magnet A current - carrying wire wrapped around in iorn core.
Electromagnetic Induction Production of electric current by moving a magnet and a wire coil realitive to each other.
