Composite Solids objects made of more than one type of solid
Cone a 3-D figure with one circular base connected by a curved surface to a single vertex
Cylinder a 3-D figure with two parallel congruent bases connected by a curved surface
Hemisphere a circle separates a sphere into two congruent halves each
Lateral Area the surface area of the figure excluding the area of the bases
Nets a two-dimensional figure that can be used to build a three-dimensional figure
Polyhedron a 3-D figure with faces that are polygons
Similar Solids a solid that has the same shape and the their corresponding linear measures are proportional
Sphere a set of all points in space that are a given distance
Total Surface Area the sum of the area of all its surfaces
Volume the measure of space occupied by a solid
