System of Equations

TermDefinition
Linear Equation An equation that is a straight line.
Substitution A way to solve a system of equations by inserting one equation into another.
Elimination A way to solve a system of equations by adding the equations together.
Solution to a system A set of points that is on both equations.
Line A series of points that represent a solution to a linear equation.
