Anticleia daughter of Autolycus, wife of Laertes, mother of Odysseus.
Aphrodite goddess of love, daughter of Zeus and wife of Hephaestus.
Apollo son of Zeus and Leto, patron of arts, especially music and poetry, and god of archery—“lord of the silver bow”—whose arrows are a metaphor for the onset of a plague, and whose festival day in Ithica is the day on which Odysseus kills the suitors.
