| seized | take hold of suddenly and forcibly |
| bustle | excited activity and movement |
| wily | skilled at gaining an advantage, especially deceitfully |
| Sorcerous | use of supernatural power |
| pursuing | follow (someone or something) in order to catch or attack them |
| perish | suffer death, typically in a violent, sudden, or untimely way |
| hoist | an act of raising or lifting something |
| runes | a letter of an ancient Germanic alphabet, related to the Roman alphabet |
