Atom The smallest particle that can exist which retains the proerties of that atom.
Proton A sub-atomic particle with a + charge found in the nuclues of an atom
Electron A sub-atomic particle with a - charge found in the orbital shells
Neutron A subatomic particle with zero charge found in the nuclues of the atom
Atomic Mass Unit The unit used to measure the mass of a sub-atomic particle
Sub atomic Particles Protons / Electrons / Neutrons
Planetary Model A theory put forward by Neils Bohr to explain how electrons move around the nucleus of atoms
