| Extract | to get, pull, or draw out, usually with special effort, skill, or force: to extract a tooth. |
| retire | to withdraw, or go away or apart, to a place of privacy, shelter, or seclusion: He retired to his study. |
| obedient | obeying or willing to obey; complying with or submissive to authority: an obedient son. |
| aroma | an odor arising from spices, plants, cooking, etc., especially an agreeable odor; fragrance. |
| obstacle | something that obstructs or hinders progress. |
| compatible | capable of existing or living together in harmony: the most compatible married couple I know. |
| pedestrian | a person who goes or travels on foot; walker. |
| bland | lacking a strong flavor |
| companion | a person who is frequently in the company of, associates with, or accompanies another: my son and his two companions. |
| clustered | a number of things of the same kind, growing or held together; a bunch: a cluster of grapes. |
| brittle | having hardness and rigidity but little tensile strength; breaking readily with a comparatively smooth fracture, as glass. |
