Dullard A stupid, insensitive person. Dull means plain, dumb and ard means always.
Entomology The branch of zoology dealing with insects. Entomo means insect and and logy means science.
Incisive penetrating; cutting; biting; trenchant: an incisive tone of voice. 2. remarkably clear and direct; sharp; keen; acute: an incisive method of summarizing the issue. 3. adapted for cutting or piercing. In means not and cise means cut.
Remiss 1. negligent, careless, or slow in performing one's duty, business, etc.: He's terribly remiss in his work. 2. characterized by negligence or carelessness. 3. lacking force or energy; languid; sluggish. Re means again and miss to send away.
Captious 1. apt to notice and make much of trivial faults or defects; faultfinding; difficult to please. 2.proceeding from a faultfinding or caviling disposition: He could never praise without adding a captious remark. Cap means take and ous means the action.
Anarchist 1.a person who seeks to overturn by violence all constituted forms and institutions of society and government, with no purpose of establishing any other system of order in the place of that destroyed. An means not and arch means government.
Belligerence 1.a warlike or aggressively hostile nature, condition, or attitude. Bell means war and the rest means action. 2.an act of carrying on war; warfare.
Scribes 1.a person who serves as a professional copyist, especially one who made copies of manuscripts before the invention of printing. Scrib means write and the rest means to do.
Incredulous 1.not credulous; disinclined or indisposed to believe; skeptical. cred means believe, in means not, and the rest is the action.
Anthropologist 1.a person who specializes in anthropology. Anthro means person and ologist means specializes in.
