Luminous An object that gives off light.
Nuclear Energy Energy that is released during a reaction when atoms are joined together or split apart.
Fusion The joining together of atoms in a nuclear reaction.
Revolution One full orbit around an object.
Rotation One spin of a planet on its axis.
Counterclockwise A direction opposite to the rotating hands of a clock.
Axis An invisible line going North/South through the Earth.
Solar Eclipse Occurs when the Moon moves between the sun and the Earth so that the sun is not visible.
Seasons Caused by the way of sunlight hits the Earth according to the Earth's axis.
