| Christianity | A religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. |
| Baptize | A ritual by which a person is welcomed into a new religion. |
| Jesus | A man who was born on 27 C.E. and upon whose life and teachings Christianity is based he is refered to as Jesus Christ. |
| Disciple | A person who helps spread the religous teachings of another. |
| Constantine | Was an emperor in 312 C.E. had a dream about Jesus the night before going into a battle against a rival. |
| Parable | A simple story that explains a moral or religous lesson. |
| Judea | A remote territory on the eastern end of the mediterainian sea where jesus was born. |
| Crusify | To kill crimanals by hanging them on a cross. |
| Prefect | A high official in ancient Rome. |
| Resurect | When Jesus rose from the dead. |
| New Testament | The testament that was written after Jesus's birth. |
| Gospels | Something written to spread the teachings and life of Jesus. |
| Missionary | Someone who tries persuade others to believe in his or her religious teachings |
| Messiah | A savior that many Jews believed had been promised by God. |
