What is the word equation for photosynthesis? Water+Carbon Dioxide->Glucose+Oxygen.
What is the symbol equation for photosynthesis? 6H20+6C02->C6H1206+602.
What is the symbol equation for Glucose? C6H12O6.
What is the two ways of extracting Oils? Pressing, Steam Distilation.
How do you know when vegetable oil is unsaturated? It contains carbon to carbon double bonds.
What is the test for unsaturated oils? Bromine water decolourises.
What does cooking food change? Aperance, Hardness.
When food is cooked is it a chemical or phisical change? Chemical.
What is a advantage of Boiling food? It has a lower energy content so it is healthier.
What is a disadvantage of Boiling food? It takes a longer trime to cook.
What is a advantage of Frying food? It is quick to cook.
What is a disadvantage of frying food? It has a high energy content so it is not healthy.
What do Oil and water not do? mix together.
What do oil and water do when they are mix together? create two seprate layers.
What is the head of a emulsifier called? hydrophilic .
what is the tail of a emulsifier called? hydrophobic.
What does Hydrobhobic mean? hates water loves oil.
what does hydrophilic mean? loves water hates oil.
what does a emulsifier do? The head of a emulsifier is a positive, so when they are swimming in the water, two positive create a negative so it helps the oli and water to not seprate.
