adverse | unfavorable; directed against a person or thing |
amiable | friendly; agreeable |
antagonist | an opponent; a person who is against another person; In literature, the "bad guy" or anything that is opposing the "good guy." |
distraught | confused and upset; agitated |
awestruck | amazed; filled with wonder mixed with fear |
trite | overused; not original |
formidable | causing fear or dread; having qualities that discourage approach or attack |
obscure | unclear; clouded |
laden | loaded; burdened |
revel | to take great delight in something |
