What is the arrangement of particles of a solid ? They are fixed, closely packed arrangements of particles.
Does a liquid have definite shape or volume? It has definite volume but no shape of its own.
What are the two types of solids? Crystalline solids and amorphous solids.
What are the arrangement particles of a liquid? The particles of a liquid are closely packed together.
What are the arrangement of the particles in a gas? As gas particles move, they spread apart, filling all spaces available.
Why does a ball leak even when it only has a tiny hole? The higher pressure inside the ball results in a gas particles hitting the inner surface of the ball more often
Why are hot gas particles moving faster than the cool gas particles? The faster the particles are moving the greater the energy and the higher temperature.
What is volume? It is the amount of space matter fills.
