improper fraction a fraction in which the numerator is greater or equal to the denominator
benchmark fraction are common fractions you use to estimate the value of fraction
mixed number has a whole number part and a fraction part
unit fraction a fraction that has a numerator of one and a denominator that is a positive integer greater than one
Multiplicative Inverse Property states that ax1=a where a is a nonzero number
reciprocal also known as the multiplicative inverse
