fraction the ammount of a whole 2/3
benchmark fraction three numbers that you round fractions to 0 1/2 1
numerator the top digit of a fraction or how many pieces of the whole you have 2/3 it would be 2
denominator the bottom digit of a fraction ; the whole ammount you have 2/3 it would be 3
multiplicative identity the number one. when 1 is multiplied by a second number the answer is that second number 7x1=7
factor tree use branches to show how a number is broken down into prime numbers
least common multiple (lcm) comparing more then one number and finding out when they will go into the same number the soonest
greatest common factor (gcf) comparing more then one number to see what the greatest number that will go in them both is
