English Revenge

QuestionAnswer
An act of retalliation occurs when someone has experience a loss of honor. Honor Revenge
an act of retaliation for real or perceived harm it's motive is to end the victimization. Carried out by a person or group thought to be harmed. Predator Prey Revenge
Occurs when a victim gets even in their mind. The motive is from fear or humiliation. Fantasies of revenge can lead to other form of revenge. Fantasy Revenge
An eye for eye. The victim inflicts the same revenge brought onto them. Simple Revenge
the act of punishing an entire group for the actions of an individual. Collective Revenge
The victim works hard to improve themselves so they escape the role of being a victim. Positive. Constructive Revenge
Unlike constructive revenge the perpetrator is changed in a positive way Transformative Revenge
A literary device where virtue is rewarded or vice is punished. Usually ironic. Poetic Justice
perpetrator receives a punishment that represents some aspect of his crime or sin Symbolic Punishment
The cosmos or a higher power appears to punish the perpetrator. Divine Vengeance or Karmic Justice
allocation of good in a society. Communism. Distributive Justice
