context clue using words in a sentence to figure out the meaning of an unknown word.
homograph a word with two different meanings, same spelling, and sometimes it is pronounced the same.
homophone two words that sound the same, but have different spellings and meanings.
antonym two words with opposite meanings
synonym two words with the same or similar meanings.
