TermDefinition
Aboard means in or on a ship, train or airplane. Jason jumped aboard the train just before the doors closed.
aloft means high in the air. Sue's kite floated aloft as she let out more string.
blast is a strong wind or movement of air. ...a loud noise. ...something is to blow it up. ... to go up in the air or into space.
cautious is to be careful in order to avoid mistakes, trouble, or danger.
girder is a large, strong piece of metal or wood. It is used to support bridges or parts of buildings. These steel girders support the railroad bridge.
inventor ...is a person who thinks up or makes something for the first time.
invent ...is to make it for the first time.
rotate ...is to turn in a circle around a center. ...to take turns in a certain order.
story ...a report of something that happened. ...a tale that is made up; often it may be written down for people to read. ...the space or rooms that make up one level of a building.
strand ...one of the threads that are twisted together to make string, yarn, or rope. it is also a single hair. ...to leave in a difficult or helpless position.
tower ...a building or a part of a building that is taller than it is wide. ...to rise hight in the air.
