Who comes to help the Trojans? Memmon Prince of Ethiopia and his armies comes to help Troy fight the Greeks. Acilles kills Memmon.
What protection does Achilles have? Thetis, nymph and mother of Achileles dipped him as a baby into the River Styx to protect him and make him invincible.
What is Achilles' weak spot? His heel is Achilles weak spoit because his mother held him buy the heel as she dipped him into the River Styx.
Who is able to kill Achilles? Paris kills Achilles with an arrow
Who guides Achilles' killer? Apollo guides Paris' arrow.
Who gets Achilles' armor? Odysseus is voted the armor and Ajax who thought he deserves the armor for being so brave in battle gets angry.
What happens to the person who loses the armor to Odysseus? Ajax goes mad and attacks the Greeksflocks and herds because he believes that they are the Greek Army.
What is Ajax's response to the madness? He is filled with shame and kills himself by falling on his sword.....
What happens to Ajax's body? Because he is a suidcie, his body is not burnt and put into an urn but buried in disgrace.
Who rescues Heracles' bow and arrows? and why? Odyseuss rescues the bow and arrows of Heracles from the isle of Lemnos because it is foretold that Troy will not fall until someone use the weapons in battle.
Who does Odysesuss bring back withthe weapons of Heracles? Odyseuss brings back Philctetes with Heracles' bow and arrows.
Who kills Paris? Philoctetes is cured and fights and kills Paris who believes that the nymph Onneme will protect him.He had dumped her when Helen came into the picture..
What is the Pallidium and what is its signifigance? Pallidium is a statue of Athena and is in Troy- the legend says that so long as the Pallidium is in Troy, the city will not be defeated.
Who steals the Pallidium? Odyseuss and Diomedes sneak into the city and steal the statue.
What was Odyseuss's plan to conquor Troy? Build a Trojan horse and sneak men into city after pertending to leave the city.
Who helped thetTrojans fall for the trick? How? Sinon a Greek, pretended to have escaped from being sacrifced by the Greeks and told the Trojean that the Greeks had left and left behind an offering to Athena in the hopes that the Trojans would destroy it and get Athena angry with the Trojans.
Who warned the Trojans against the Horse? Lacoon, a Trojan priest"I fear the Greeks even when they bear gifts."
Who punished Lacoon and his sons and how?H Poseidons ent tow huge sea snakes which grabbed and crushed Lacoon and his sons.
What happened to the Trojan horse? Greeks escaped during the night into the city of Troy and opened the gates and let in the entire Greek army. Trojans were killed including old King Priam and Hector's son Astyanax were killed with the Trojans- only Aeneas was saved by Aphrodite- Helen wa
What happened to the women of Troy? Taken away as captives and divided one here and one there never to be together again.
