Indigent - suffering from lack of money; very poor
Suppliant - a person making a humble plea to someone in power or authority
Estuary - the part of a wide lower course of a river
Poultice - a soft moist mass of bread, clay, meal, usually heated, spread on cloth
Speculatively - relating to or characterized by investment involving high risk but also the possibility of high profits
Bulwark - some that provides protection for or against something
Precipitated - caused to happen suddenly; unexpectedly
Incandescence - the emission of visible light by a hot object
Lethargy - the lack of energy and extrusion; lazy
Undulating - move with a smooth, wave like motion
Transfigured - transform into something more beautiful or elevated
Petulant - childishly sulky or bad tempered
Germane - relevant to a subject under consideration
Monolithic - formed from a single large block of stone
Semblance - the outward appearance of something
Feinted - making a distractive movement
