Excel Shortcuts

CTRL + SHIFT + 9 Unhides any hidden rows within the selection
SHIFT + 9 Hides selected rows
CTRL + SHIFT + 0 Unhides any hidden columns within the selection
CTRL + 0 Hides selected columns
COMMAND + A Selects all cells in sheet containing data; press again to select all cells
CTRL + D Uses the "fill down" command to copy cell contents and format from the first cell in the selection
COMMAND + F Opens the "Find" tool to query data
COMMAND + Y Repeats the last command or action, if permitted
CTRL + U Places the mouse cursor into the selected cell
CTRL + Arrow Keys Moves to the outermost cell in a table of data, or to the end of the worksheet
SHIFT + Arrow keys Extends the selection of cells by one cell
SHIFT + CTRL + Arrow Keys Extends the selection of cells to the last nonblank cell in a column or row
FN + CTRL + Right Arrow Moves to the last cell on a worksheet, in the lowest used row of the rightmost used column
FN + CTRL + Shift + Right Arrow Extends the selection of cells to the last used cell on the worksheet
CTRL + OPTION + RETURN Starts a new line / hard break in active cell
CTRL + RETURN Fills the selected cell range w/ the current entry
FN + Left Arrow Moves to the first cell in selected row
FN + CTRL + Left Arrow Moves to the first cell in the worksheet (A1)
FN + CTRL + Down/Up Arrow Moves to the next/previous worksheet in a workbook
Spacebar In a dialog box, performs the action for the selected button, or selects or clears a check box
CTRL + SPACEBAR Selects an entire column in a worksheet
SHIFT + SPACEBAR Selects an entire row in a worksheet
TAB Moves to the next cell in a worksheet
SHIFT + TAB Moves to the previous cell in a worksheet
ALT + W + F Freeze panes (PC only)
CTRL + SPACEBAR, CTRL + "-" Select and delete column
SHIFT + SPACEBAR, CTRL + "-" Select and delete row
