Unit 2.0

Meter Measures gas, water, miles,time. Big as a guitar.
Kilometer Distance equal to 1000 meters. Big as a bridge.
Centimeter One 100th of a meter, about the size of your finger-nail.
Gram Metric unit of mass, weight of a dollar.
Kilogram Weight of a water bottle, bag of rice.
Millimeter Size of the side of a dime or credit card.
Accuracy Quality of being correct.
Mass The quantity of matter from Newton's second law of motion.
Volume A mass or quantity, especially a large quantity of something
Precision Accuracy, and exactness
Density Mass per unit volume, compactness
Independent variable A variable that is intentialy changed to observe its effect on the dependent variable.
Dependent variable Changes when the independent variable is changed.
Controlled variable An experiment to trial that uses controls usually separating them into groups.
